You may be asking yourself, why are pink diamonds becoming the next fashion trend? It seems as if so many hollywood stars are beginning to make it the next mandatory fashion statement.

Pink diamonds are some of the rarest stones in the world. But, it is quiet difficult for even scientists to figure out how these pink diamonds get their magnificent color. They mention also in the video that the large diamond's origin is unknown, hence making it a lot less valuable than the smaller stones which have known origins.
I think that it is incredible how this can be the case. Even so, with a large pink diamond. Being that a pink stone itself is rare and worth a lot of money on it's own. However knowing the origin of a specific diamond looks to be of huge importance for estimating it's value.
Surely, knowing the origin of one of these stones for somebody that simply wants a pink diamond at the right price can be the least of their concerns. But then again, there are others who would like to have that detailed information about their pink stone which they are shelling out millions of dollars for.
